1. Add Google+ Profile Link

Go to the edit user screen in your WordPress dashboard and enter your Google+ author link in the option field. Below is an example of what that should look like:

2. Add Google+ Contributor Link

Now you need to add a link to your website on your Google+ About page. Be sure to look for the Contributor to section. That’s where good things happen.

Click edit found at the bottom of the Links section in your profile, and you’ll be able to Add a custom link. Below is an example of what that should look like:

3. Test Google Authorship

The last step is testing that you properly established authorship. Thankfully, Google has provided a Structured Data Testing tool to check it for you.
