Sometimes things are said better by other people.
A few weeks ago I wrote about internet addiction because I wanted to share with you a struggle I think many of us have. The post was centered around something Russell Brand had written a few years ago in a piece called My life without drugs.
Absolutely brilliant writing — the kind that makes me envious, the kind that makes me wish I wrote it. Everything about that was right. The authenticity, the poetry. Just all of it.
This morning I want to share something else. Like the former, this is something that hits so close to home I swear it was written about me. I have to admit it took a while for me to digest this, and I’m sure there’s a number of posts coming in reaction to it.
But in the meantime, let’s all thank John O’Nolan for getting inside my head and saying all of the things I’ve been wanting to say—and doing it better than me.
