    When I joined WP Engine this past fall, I knew that I would have the opportunity to produce all sorts of content. Of course, the obvious was design, but the one I was most excited about was writing.

    While we have several online properties and places where I can contribute, the opportunity at Torque made sense. Metaphorically it fit and aligned perfectly with ideas I had for my column appropriately named Pit Stop.

    A few months ago, I was surfing around looking for some design inspiration when I came across the Viget website. I was drawn to the typography on the site, so I poked further under the hood to see what font was being used.

    Geomanist has a contemporary sans design, clean and elegant, with a combination of geometric shapes and humanistic beat.
